hi all,
can anyone help me? one of my servers has been encountering error 4207 as shown in the detailed status tab but on the activity monitor, it shows errors either 25 or 41. this is for FS backup. i also have an SQL backup running for the server but completes with no errors. From the web, all i can find is the recommended action from symantec:
The NetBackup client can communicate with the NetBackup master.
The state file location on the NetBackup client has write permission. The typical location of the NetBackup state file on the NetBackup client is as follows:
Windows: C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\online_util\fi_cntl
i was able to verify that netbackup is able to write on the directory and the server can communicate with the master. i've also forced restart all netbackup services but still no change on the status.
Set up is:
OS: Windows 2003
Netbackup: 7.6
client is not joined in a domain but master server is. we had no problems before with the setup until the server was physically moved to another location. below are sample logs.
