Full and Incremental backup

Hi Experts,

IF 1 have a scheduled backup say sunday is full and monday to saturday is incremental.

What would happen if sunday full backup gets failed and monday incremental is successful?

Does it mean that incremental on Monday has taken full backup on monday or will it take the incremental from saturday?
