Yes, i do know we can backup and restore sharepoint farms and also GRT, BUT, In the older versions of netbackup 7.5.05 , sharepoint backups would restore fine, but web parts would not. Meaning, the web page would restore, but the layout of the page would be messed up and linked data would go missing - thereby rendering the restore useless. so we had to stop using Netbackup and resort to some third party tool.
Does anyone know if this has been resolved in the latest version of Netbackup ?
