Recovery Without Import

Hi,

Our customer has two servers (Primary and Secondary site) with different server name and IP address.

Both servers have NetBackup version 7.6.0.1.

Tapes from primary site that doing the backups needs to restore on the secondary site.

As import process of the tape image consumes too much time depending on the size, our workaround is to replicate the catalog from the primary site to secondary site.

I believe it will not work with this kind of structure, with different hostname.

Will “Recovery Without Import” work in this issue/case?
