Hi,
I do a Full backup on Saturdays and then Incremental on all other days on a RMAN backup dir.
That is a RMAN backing up to files, I then take an ordinary UNIX files backup with netbackup on that dir.
Due to a bug in RMAN the DBA copies some control files to a save directory.
We have 5 different backup dirs backup1 - backup5 and the save directory.
On Saturdays everythings gets backed up fine (FULL).
On the following Sunday we do an INC backup of the same basedir (/path).
/path/backup1 gets backed up fine, which is the latest RMAN backup (new files since FULL)
/path/save where there is more new files (since FULL) is not backed up.
I used bplist to see what files gets backed up and the save directory is indeed empty.
What could be wrong here?
